You said that your colours were weird, but I actually must compliment you on them! They were quite lovely, however, it seems that you are going for an evening theme? Some of the colours still seem to be a bit daytimeish where others are more for a nighttime/evening picture.
I'm not sure if you do this but I would definitely recommend always picking out all of your light sources (i.e. the lights coming from the ballroom behind them, the moon/sun, etc.) before you start colouring! Also, it is very helpful to lay down a base colour to go off of so that picking colours to compliment it and keep it looking like the time of day is very useful and something that I've actually been playing around with myself.
Anyways, I love the atmosphere of this picture and the shading is very nice, I would recommend practicing anatomy a bit more, since it can be very tricky and some things are just a bit off on this picture. I'd say that Zero's head is bigger than Yuuk's, that's really the main thing I'd work on. I'm not sure what your style is so the larger heads compared to the bodies can work just fine! ^^ uh, I hope this helped a little.
